Lecture: “A Toolbox for Aging-in-Community”
October 29 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm EDT
Join N2N President and Physical Therapist, Lonnie Stewart, and graduate students from the Columbia University Programs in Physical Therapy for a presentation on ways to prepare for aging-in-place (more appropriately called aging-in-community). You may have heard about how to set up your home to reduce falls, but what about planning ahead for an unplanned hospitalization, difficulty managing finances, loss of a spouse or partner? Lonnie and his students will cover those topics and more – and provide you with some novel tools for planning that come out of their research on aging in New York City in late life.
When: Tuesday, October 29 at *6:30 PM*
(we have arranged a later time to overlap less with the children’s choir that rehearses from 6-7 PM!)
Where: Village Temple, 33 East 12th Street
Please RSVP to: email@example.com
