Coffe, Tea, Snacks with Team Upright
January 16 @ 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm EST
“Hello, all! We are Upright, a student-led group from the NYU Healthcare Makerthon, looking to learn more about ways to develop solutions for aging-in-community. We still have a few questions and would love your input. We would welcome any suggestions on areas you feel we should focus on our project. Please let us know if you would like to be interviewed by us. Tea, coffee, and snacks will be available during our meet up. Please come!”
You may remember team Upright from the NYU Healthcare Makerthon. Upright won a $5,000 grand prize and the Audience Choice Award in part due to feedback and advice from N2N participants like yourself.
Team leaders, Saim Kazmi (far left) and Nicole Parada (second from left), are hoping to get more feedback from N2N participants on the development of their idea for continuous gait (walking) monitoring as preventative care to avoid falls.
After meeting with Lonnie Stewart last week, they decided to use some of their award money to host a coffee, tea, and snack reception for you in exchange for your thoughts and feedback as they enter the next stage of their project.
Whether you attended the Makerthon or not, you are welcome to attend, meet Nicole and Saim, learn of their project, and give opinions based on your real-world experience.
Please RSVP HERE so they know to expect you!
