September is Disaster Preparedness Month. Hurricane Harvey reminds us that planing ahead can help save lives. New York City’s office of Emergency Management (OEM) has many worthwhile resources for disaster preparedness. Several important links are provided below. This is also a good time to remember to check-in with your neighbors before and during significant weather and emergency events.

We welcome suggestions for more links and information. Send suggestions to n2n.greenwich.village@gmail.com
